I have quite a few posts I need to make but I thought I’d start with this one because it was my entry into April 22′s Bellarific Friday over at Stamping Bella. It’s fun to be able to participate in a challenge at another blog and we really love when people come over to our blog and leave us a comment or two! This week the theme was “anything goes” which means that as long as you have a Stamping Bella image to use you are good to go.

Since I needed a birthday card I picked Sneaky Sneaky Birthday Bella as my image and then paper pieced my little heart out.   I stamped the couch on green patterned paper and then stamped it again on some scraps to create coloured pillows. I stamped it yet again on white cardstock so that I could colour Bella’s head and all the hats of her “hidden” friends.  It’s a bit hard to see in the photo but the hats and prezzies have all sorts of glitz and glam worthy of a Bella birthday celebration.  The best part of all? – my co-worker loved it!

It’s so cute I just might have to make it a few more times… perhaps with a a few changes!

Ellery is getting to be so grown up looking that I decided to colour up amplee TUDE from Stamping Bella.  She has beautiful, thick long hair just like Ellery so it was a perfect fit.  The patterened paper is all from K&C Company – Greenhouse paper pack.  I added a little glitter to the headband and clear glaze pen on the ice cream.  The fabric flower was the final touch to finish it off and it comes from Maya Road

Lori, Ellery and I also had fun making the invitations to the birthday party.  We headed to The Greeting Farm and used little Anya from the Me Time Anya set and I believe the pj border came from Stamping Bella (in a bag of free stamps).

I have been wanting to participate in the That’s Krafty Thursday challenge over on Jeannie’s blog for quite some time, and finally have an entry to submit.  If you haven’t visited The Spotted Chick you don’t know what you are missing!!!  She is a wonderful artisit and every time I read her entries I leave smiling.  Sandi

The layout was a sketch that was provided  Ebrubella at Stamping Bella, but unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to enter it in Bellerafic Friday.  Now that I have photo editing software installed on the computer again I hope to participate more.

This snowman was created from an idea in the Papercrafts November/December 2010 issue (page 21).  I used similar colour and placement, but incorporated my own stamp ideas, etc.  I love using craft paper and was happy with the final outcome of this card.

This is actually a refurbished card from the christmas before.  The original card fell apart so instead of just hitting the recycle bin I tuned it up, made it better and voila!! Sandi

This card was made for our friends Sherry and Tom.  I used the Sockafellabella stamp from Stamping Bella, coloured them with Copics and finished it off with a bright green bow.

Here is another bright and cheerful card made from non-traditional Christmas colours.

This card features the Caroling Hedgehogs from Penny Black stamps and was coloured with copic markers.  The patterned paper is from a pack by Stampin’ Up!, the scalloped border is from Papertry Ink and the FaLaLa was cut out with the end of one of the Nestabilites Labels 8 dies.  I left the paper in the die and sponged some green ink around the edges to give it a bit of definition.  The embellishments are from our stash, a bit of red ribbon, a covered brad and a snowflake punched with the Martha Stewart snowflake die. -Lori

So here’s an Elzybells stamp (so sad they closed up shop) coloured with Copics and chalks and glittered up with all sorts of fake Martha Stewart snow.  A few crystals on the tree, a nice stripey ribbon and a snowflake punched in navy completes the piece.  Oh, and Kraft paper, both as the card base and as the focal point! -Lori

This cute car is from the Enjoy the Ride stamp set from Papertrey Ink. There’s a coordinating die that goes with it which lets you cut out the perfect car shape and gives you lots of opportunity to mix and match.  I stamped the car in blue ink but then added a few touches to the windshield and sunflower with Copic markers.  I used Big Scalloped Circles to add the detail behind my focal point and created the 70′s circles by inking up our Spots and Dots folder and running it through our Cuttlebug.  A bit of starburst paper and some paper daisies complete my groovy card. -Lori

The stamps are from the Papertrey Ink set called Wonderfully Whimsical and the little “its twins” sentiment from the set was absolutely perfect for this application.  I coloured everything with copic makers and did a little bit of paper piecing for the hills (from the same stamping set) which were simply layered to create the look that I wanted.  A bit of fuzzy ribbon and some buttons stitched with cream embroidery floss finished off the embellishments. -Lori

I started by choosing my colour palette from the Basic Grey “Cappella” set which I purchased from a terrific online supplier called Die Cuts R Us. Then I created a focal point with my Stamping Bella image, Tilly the Teacup Girl and coloured her with copic markers.  I created the ribbon scrunch with some nice polkadot green ribbon and some strips of scor-tape and was able to nestle the sentiment into the scrunches.  I’m absolutely useless with bows (Sandi has to make them for me) but because this was her birthday card I needed an alternate solution and I think the ribbon pleats turned out beautifully.  I ran the green background paper through our Cuttlebug using the Sunshine Impression Plate from Papertrey Ink and I loved how the swirls echo the curls of Tilly’s hair. -Lori

So, as you can see this is a little 4X4 kraft cardstock card. The background is simply strips of patterned paper cut to varying widths and seamed up together to make a fall background. The trees are from the Papertrey Ink set Masculine Motifs and I added “leaves” with a few dots of copic markers.  A bit of twine distressed with some copic marker finished it off – such a quick and easy card. -Lori
